Throughout our lives, we have been conditioned to believe that we are our body, our job, our name, etc…to believe that only the tangible is what is “real”. General concepts like health have been distorted and an incomplete picture has been painted, with a controlled, reductionist and limited point of view. We have noticed that when the majority of people think or talk about health, they associate and refer to it only with regards to food and the physical body. The confusion, and the reason that many people cannot achieve true health, real healing addressing the root of the situation, lies in the ignorant mentality that health is a term only applied to our physical body and only what we physically put in it can affect it. Dear HLife: What is the Deal with Candida?
Dear HLifer,
Candida sounds like the name of a hot girl who lives next door right? And that’s not far from reality. It lives closer to us than we know it, but it is not a human being. Candida Albicans is a yeast, a type of fungus that lives naturally in all human bodies of all ages from birth on. Here is the ‘big deal’ with candida and health:
If you live in a healthy body: It lives symbiotically in a balanced environment as a yeast in the gastrointestinal tract, on the mucus membranes and on the skin, causing no problems for the body. Living in a healthy body implies that you have a strong immune system via a nutrient-dense, conscious diet and high-frequency thought patterns.
If you live in an unhealthy body: This harmless ‘yeast’ (single-celled organism) can overgrow, turning into an extremely dangerous pathogenic fungus with roots that can attack any organs or systems in your body. This fungus uses its roots to dig and create holes into the intestinal lining, where it and its by products can then infiltrate the blood stream. Read More…

Dear HLife: If all illnesses start in the mind, what does a fibroid mean?
Dear HLifer:
You’re on the right track asking this question, because the minute something happens to your body, you need to focus on one thing: What is my body trying to tell me?
The physical body is a map to the mental “body”. Your physical body has many jobs and one of them is telling you exactly what is going on in your mind, which is something that you may not be able to see. The point of connection between the mind and the body are the emotions. There are healers who say that all problems are emotional, and that’s not untrue. A holistic approach to health looks at all bodies – physical, mental, emotional and spiritual – to get a whole picture of what is causing the imbalance. Read More…

If we say “digestive system”, you probably think: stomach. We get it. It’s definitely way cuter to say “belly”, “tummy”, or even “gut” than to say “intestine” or “esophagus”. But to think of your tummy when you think digestion is a completely incomplete picture, and we’re gonna amplify that perspective for you a little bit here at HLife.
First, let me explain why you should care about understanding how your digestive system works. Of all the daily activities you do that affect your health, eating/drinking is the most critical one. Breathing is important – can’t live without it for very long at all – but inhaling and exhaling are automatic processes that you do without any effort, not even a thought. Sleeping is important, but you do that once, maybe twice a day (nap time!) and it normally doesn’t require much thinking other than “hey, I think it’s time for bed.” Read More…

When we look in the mirror, we see one body. But in order to understand that body and take responsibility for its health, we need to start seeing the body as the “shell”, hosting billions of individual bodies in the form of cells. When we talk about nutrition, we are talking about nutrition for the cells. They are the main focus here. You are responsible for taking care of your cells, and if you do so, your cells will also take care of you. This…is love.
Every cell in your body needs to be nourished. Some say (and I agree) that each cell has consciousness. If this is true, then we must be the gods to our cells, the caretaker that oversees the well-being of each individual consciousness in its Universe. If this is the case, then by the Principle of Correspondence (see post “Universal Laws”) each one of us must be a cell in an even bigger body that we call God. That’s why the word or symbol of God is omnipresent – it’s everywhere literally because we are everywhere, and we are a part of It. You are also a god to your cells, because they are a part of you. It is important to talk about cells when we are learning about and aiming at better understanding minerals. Here’s why: Read More…

When it comes to nourishing your body with the correct essential nutrients, minerals deserve the spotlight. We believe minerals to be crucial for the balance of the body, mind, emotions and spirit. Minerals are frequencies of light, information, and creation for the material world. The Earth and our bodies are both made of minerals. When we are in a fetal stage, minerals are necessary in order to solidify the matter we later call our body. Minerals are the builders of systems; they are the foundation of all organ and cellular structures of the body. There are about 16 major minerals and seven trace minerals, and without them, we could not survive. Now more then ever, our soil has become increasingly mineral-deficient, due to all the pesticides and herbicides that are sprayed in the crops and lack of crop rotation and diversity. From junk foods to microwaved foods and genetically modified crops, much of the food that is consumed has very little minerals or no minerals at all. If minerals are essential for our growth and function, then the situation is critical. Dr. Linus Pauling, two-time Nobel Prize winner, said: “You can trace every sickness, every disease and every ailment, ultimately, to a mineral deficiency.” When studying, analyzing, and understanding each minerals function, behavior, and composition, one can comprehend exactly the weight of Dr. Linus Pauling’s words.
